Novak's next-generation Ballistic motors have entered the crawling field. The high-performance Ballistic Crawler Brushless Motors – 13.5T (#3614), 18.5T (#3618), and 21.5T (#3619) are 3 of the most sought after brushless crawling motors on the market. Because of their extreme versatility, the Ballistic Crawler Motors can tackle all crawling conditions with a simple stator switch. Because the crawler-specific hardware is located outside of the hand-wound stators, drivers can replace the stators at any time to properly combat any type of terrain or course.
High-End Crawling Motor
And like all Novak Ballistic motors, the Ballistic Crawlers contain heavy-duty solder tabs and a removable nine-inch shielded sensor harness. And by taking advantage of the Ballistics' interchangeable wound stator construction, crawlers can simply replace the stator for any available stator between 13.5 and 21.5 turns. The motors are also equipped with a custom-silicone gasket seal to keep dirt and debris from damaging the motors' sensor plug. The Ballistic Crawler motors also include a Crawling Sintered Tuning Rotor - 14mm (#5950). The rotor's large diameter and exclusive magnetic material provide the motors with more torque and stronger braking. It also increases natural drag braking and improves the motors' initial throttle response, providing more control on steep climbs and downhill descents.
The Novak Standard
Like all Novak brushless motors, the Ballistic Brushless Motors are designed, tested and built at the Novak facility in Lake Forest, Calif. Each motor stator is hand-wound for maximum copper fill, and each motor is individually tested for consistency. The motors are also tuned to the same factory timing, run under a simulated load, and visually inspected, packaged and weighed to ensure the best product is sent to customers.
Completely Rebuildable Design
Novak's Ballistic Crawling motors are completely rebuildable. At the track,
service and repairs are a snap, allowing you to get back to turning laps
right away. Replaceable sensor harness, replaceable and tuning rotors,
replaceable sensor board, replaceable stator, replaceable end bells and
bearings- you name it. If the motor has it, you can pick up the spare
part and be back in action in no time!
Novak takes pride in its manufacturing facility in Lake Forest, California and also with its use of high-quality components and assembly and testing processes. Each Novak Ballistic Crawler Brushless Motor is built and tested in the Novak factory to Novak’s exacting standards.
