On-Site Robotic Manufacturing
The Novak facility in Irvine, California
OVER 30 YEARS IN CONTROL!

More than 30 years ago, Novak Electronics, Inc. entered the R/C car industry and began an extraordinary relationship with R/C car enthusiasts that still exists today. It's hard to believe that the company -- known primarily for making orange speed controls and brushless motors -- started in the business of making servos. Today, not only does Novak make quality brushless systems for drivers of all skill levels, it has expanded its expertise to include brushless conversion kits, data acquisition products, dischargers, chargers, synthesized receivers, transmitter modules, power supplies and most recently, brushless motor accessories. Quite a list indeed, and one which promises to grow in the upcoming years.

Located in sunny Southern California in a spacious 35,000 sq. ft. facility that contains a custom-built R/C race track, sophisticated manufacturing machinery and an extensive testing department, Novak is a self-contained R/C manufacturer proud to design, assemble and test their products on-site. A staff of more than 40 dedicated people make this happen. The product design and development department consists primarily of degreed engineers and experienced racers--a perfect combination. A diverse mix of employees with various specialty backgrounds make up the remaining staff.

The Novak name is synonymous with quality and excellence--just ask around the track. Not many companies can boast the rigid standards Novak applies to its products. Every product that leaves the Novak facility is put through quality control testing, which means that every single Novak speed control, motor, charger, receiver and power supply sold at a hobby store or mounted in a car has gone through a comprehensive series of tests to ensure that customers
receive a quality product.

What looks like a simple hobby is far more advanced than meets the eye. Take, for example, the numerous machines Novak uses. One of these highly sophisticated machines can precisely place up to 18,000 tiny, individual electronic components on a panel in just one hour!

Many of the convenient features that racers enjoy today were first introduced by Novak, including Radio Priority Circuitry, One-Touch Set-Up, Polar Drive Technology and Reverse Voltage Protection. Other Novak developments that have revolutionized R/C car racing include the introduction of fully programmable speed controls, programming devices, and what is undoubtedly its most innovative product: sensored brushless motor systems!

Novak is proud to have won 15 Readers' Choice Awards, 20 IFMAR World Champion titles and currently holds the 4WD Off-Road IFMAR World Champion title. The familiar bright orange t-shirts and banners that sport the Novak logo can be seen at small and large events across the world as Novak attends and sponsors various R/C events. Owner and R/C enthusiast, Bob Novak, can oftentimes be seen manning a Novak booth or racing in an event. Such excitement for the hobby is what has kept Novak at the forefront of R/C technology. It's also what will inspire and drive Novak to many more years of designing quality products for R/C enthusiasts of all skill levels.
