Jake Thayer TQ'ed and won the Expert 4WD Buggy division at the JConcepts Summer Stock Nationals, which was hosted by OC/RC Raceway, April 29, in Huntington Beach, CA. Jake ran a Novak Havoc Pro SC ESC with X-Drive, as well as a red wire, epoxy-dipped, Novak Ballistic 17T brushless motor with vented end bells.
The 7-minute mains were not a problem as his motor and ESC ran cool and consistently all the way through.
Jake also had great runs in the Bugyy and Truck classes, just missing the podium, finishing 4th in 2WD Buggy and 2WD Stadium Truck!
